What are your thoughts on pay and bonuses at your company?
Not in line with market rates
Graduate, Brisbane
I am happy. Expected pay as a Graduate and remuneration when performing above normal
Graduate, Sydney
quite low and no bonuses
Graduate, Newcastle
Happy with my pay as a graduate. I don't think there are bonuses at the company.
Graduate, Sydney
Works in only bands, not based on actual performance
Graduate, Sydney
The pay is poor, they try to hire really qualified and high achieving grads, including engineers, but then you work well over 40 hours most weeks, and the pay is based on the median for grad PM's so it does not cover working such long hours and making them work so many unpaid hours.
Graduate, Canberra
Appreciate the opportunity for pay rises each year.
Graduate, Rockhampton
Pay could be more competitive. Bonus could be included for Christmas time.
Graduate, Brisbane
Salary is comparable with other consultancies. No Bonus and no extra salary allowances to move & work in small city offices
Graduate, Mackay
Pay rises are exponential with experience. It's pretty low for early professionals and the benefits aren't anything special
Graduate, Newcastle
Pay is average in the market. Would like to see pay more performance based, but at this stage it is the same for all those in your same year of experience across the company.
Professional, Brisbane
The salary raise rate is a little bit low
Graduate, Sydney
Pay could be better and pay rises could be improved alongside the rise in inflation.
Graduate, Newcastle
It seems to be on par with the industry, and I've received decent increases in salary annually.
Professional, Brisbane
No bonuses, pay is average.
Graduate, Sydney
The pay is average among my peers at other companies
Graduate, Sydney
Pretty low especially compared to other first-year graduates at other companies and for living in Sydney.
Graduate, Sydney
Getting paid monthly is a bit on the late side in terms of frequency.
Graduate, Melbourne
Pay seems to be highly based on tenure. All grads get paid the same in the same cohorts. The pay rise this year in general was particularly disappointing. You seem to get overly praised on what a great job you are doing yet doesn't reflect in your pay. Depending on your team some grads have a lot more pressure and responsibility but don't really get rewarded for the work that is out in.
Early Professional, Brisbane
Pay is not the greatest. However, somewhat expected at a consultancy where companies are competing to undercut one another. Despite this, I didn't come to the company seeking money but more to develop myself into a competent engineer. If I'd preferred money, would have stayed in previous contractor company where they pay higher.

The office has barista level coffee machines so free coffee every day! They often put on a hot brekky which is great.
Professional, Brisbane
The company has a number of perks including organisational apps they help save (i.e. Smart Spending app that discounted groceries vouchers, discounts at electronic etc). There are also a number of other perks such as novated leases, discounts at certain car retailers, discounted travel.
Graduate, Newcastle
Purchased leave option is fantastic for us travellers.
Professional, Brisbane
There aren't really any perks except for the occasional discount on products. Leave policies could be more generous (extra parental leave, extra annual leave or introducing flex leave). Purchasing leave just feels like a hollow benefit, especially when you are not being paid much.
Graduate, Sydney
Drinks and Board Lunch Meetings.
Graduate, Melbourne
Buying additional annual leave
Early Professional, Brisbane
There were a few good perks in the grad program. Uber home from the first conference, $100 voucher for Uber eats, etc. When I go on site there are some good perks. Company cars, overtime and time off in lieu, toll card and fuel card. Overall there's that app that has a bunch of free perks but I'm never bothered to use it.
Professional, Sydney
Free food at meetings and events is great. Ubers are another great thing, especially for site inspections.
