Application Process & Interviews at Cenitex

8.9
8.9 rating for Recruitment, based on 20 reviews
Please describe the interview process and assessments.
submit application form online - video interview - online assessment - final assessment interview ( Group assessment and final interview)
The interview process was quite easy. The ice breakers definitely helped eased any tension. It was quite easy to translate a formal interview into a conversation. The CTX assessments were the easiest thing I had completed for any company I applied for. I think it would be better for more challenging assessments to better filter graduate applicants.
Online assessment followed by a group assessment and an interview.
The graduate program interview consists of both group activity and individual interview. An introduction and Q&A session is also provided in the interview process, which are quite helpful for understanding the organisation and the program.
The interview process for Graduate role took a little bit long, including online test, video interview and one day assessment.
Plenty of opportunity to practice your answers and get comfortable during the preliminary interview process where you record your answers to questions. The assessments were run well and so was the final interview, the interviewers created a comfortable atmosphere for me to be the best me. Good structure from application to final interview, nothing in there that was unexpected.
-Submit resume & cover letter - Online capabilities assessment (logical, abstract, mathematical reasoning) - Assessment centre (group task, computer written timed-task, individual interview) - Formal offer and onboarding
During my recruitment I completed the following: - Cognitive & thinking skills assessment, - Recorded self-interview - Group assesment (Graduate program) - A virtual interview with 2 staff members.

Questions around strength/ weakness
Introduction, your career plan and some regular behavior questions.
A lot around my goals and how i've been able to overcome things in the past, whether it be during uni or in my life or other employment. So there's a bit of emphasis on your ability to problem solve and think logically about what path or fix is going to give the best long term results for you, your relationships, and your organisation.
Questions about teamwork, and responding to certain situations. May also include technical questions depending on the role.
After the assessments there was a final interview in which I was asked about my previous experiences if any or Internships and also University Projects. And then some behavioural questions regarding work.

Do you have any specific tips and advice for candidates applying to your company? How would you recommend they best prepare?
1. Mock interview 2. do you own research about the company 3. Be yourself
It's hard to offer advice since the process seemed a lot easier than other companies. Everything was quite straight forward and the communication between the OD team during the graduate process was quite clear. If there was one recommendation I would give it would be a good idea to emphasise the importance of the group activity and give some tips to candidate at how they can do well for it.
Do your research about Cenitex prior to attending an interview.
Prepare behavior questions and be confident.
Leverage anything you can, learn about what a question is really asking, how is it valuable to the company and what is it that you've done that be used as an example here. It doesn't have to have extreme stakes on the line, demonstrate you did what the interviewer is looking for and you now understand how to apply that in the future. Transferrable skills are absolutely crucial. For the interviewing stages, REHEARSE, your ability to communicate your answer is as important if not more important than the answer, they clearly see you have the technical ability because you've passed on through to the interviewing stages. Now it's up to you to show your personality, that you're someone who is going to be able to bring value to the company and also get value out of the graduate program.
Peruse annual reports and get a good understanding of the organisations' values, what services they provide, and the culture. Link these aspects back to your own personal characteristics, mindset, and visions/motivations.
Prepare some examples for the interview using STAR method. Be confident in interview and assessment centre. Don't be dominant in the assessment centre, be a good team player.
