There is currently not much in-person work due to Covid and other germs. I like having an open channel of communication with my manager, and I get along well with my colleagues. I like how progressive the company is. I'm still surprised that I'm not the only non-binary person in my team.

Dolby has a very good work culture around sharing information cross teams. However, since the company is spread across multiple sites it can be difficult to know who to talk to around certain collaborations or what specific teams are working on. There have also been fewer opportunities to socialise amongst colleagues, mainly due to COVID.

The culture is very supportive and collaborative. Everyone is open to discussions and happy to help. Whilst there is a company hierarchy, everyone gets treated equally and I have found everyone to be accommodating and pleasant to talk to. Maybe it is due to COVID but out-of-office socialising seems to be at a minimum at the moment.

The office is empty at times, however, during events one can definitely feel a positive change in atmosphere. Co-operation and teamwork can vary across teams. Within my team I have mixed feelings, and it is definitely dependant on the individuals within a team that impact the amount of collaboration happening.

Extremely flexible work schedule - many people work 9/80 (Work 80 hours over 9 days and get every other Friday off) schedules. Occasionally there is a team day to do activities together, sometimes there are whole-company events to socialise
