Evolve FM Pty Ltd is Australia's first Indigenous property and facilities management outsourcing company. We aim to partner with, and foster, Indigenous enterprise. We do this by hiring and supporting Indigenous Australians and businesses. Evolve FM operates in the Commercial Real Estate sector and has the backing of two industry-leading organisations in Pacific Services Group Holdings and Jones Lang LaSalle. Recruitment Process

The steps in our recruitment process

  • Our recruitment system will collect some personal details from you, ask you to upload your resume and take you through skill and psychometric questionnaire to assess your qualifications, experience, and behaviours. The entire process will take about 10-15 minutes
  • Those assessed as a good match for our company will hear from us by telephone. This will take about 10-15 minutes and will be conducted by our People and Culture Team.
  • Those who progressed through the telephone screen will attend an In-person or MS Teams interview with potential managers, one of our Indigenous employees and a People and Culture representative (maximum 3 person panel).

We ask some questions about your previous experience, your studies and some behavioural questions in identified competencies for ideal applicants (these can differ depending on the potential role).

The selection criteria

At Evolve FM we hire for behavioural fit above all else. We have an amazing culture with fantastic people and our aim is to only get better in this space. We have a comprehensive recruitment process to ensure everyone employed in our organisation shares our passion, values and beliefs and will positively contribute to our culture. We have benchmarked our best employees and potential candidates are assessed during the application process to measure their behavioural compatibility for our organisation. This is all done in the very first stages of recruitment and those assessed as meeting the benchmarks are progressed through to the next stage of the selection process (phone and face to face interview).

Remuneration & Career Growth

Starting salary for graduates is dependent on qualifcations, experience and fit but is usually circa 60-70K per annum. Our salaries are reviewed annually and we also have a bonus scheme for very high contributing employees Career opportunities are in line with our growth and fast progression is possible. We have grown from 20 to almost 60 employees in less than 3 years. We have a comprehensive performance development and talent management program and your manager and you are continually working together on this to ensure you are fully supported in your role in terms of guidance, training and mentorship; the next step for you is communicated; and the path and timeframe to get there is clear.

We promote when you are ready and an opportunity arises. We don't assess readiness in terms of time in the current role, but the potential to achieve and demonstration of competency. Some of our managers are in their early 20's and started with us as new entrants less than 12 months ago.
