One Health is a busy, well regarded allied health clinic located in the Sutherland Shire. Established in 2005, we offer among other services, paediatric Speech Pathology. We care about our clients, and are dedicated to developing a team of engaged, enthusiastic staff and practitioners that are valued for creating positive change in people's lives.

We are looking for additional team members to join us in providing an exceptional level of family centred care. We work with clients and their families in the clinic, their homes and via telehealth. We also enjoy close working relationships with other professionals and deliver individual and group services in preschools and schools.

Selection Criteria

This position is suitable for graduate or a final year students looking to start their career in a growing clinic, with the mentorship / supervision of highly qualified and experienced clinicians, within a team of enthusiastic Speech Pathologists. Interest and undergraduate experience in paediatric Speech Pathology will be highly regarded.

Additionally, you will:

  • Hold, or be close to attaining a graduate degree in Speech Pathology (or equivalent) enabling you to register as a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).

  • Focus on providing exceptional customer service through clear and concise communication, in a style relevant to the audience – both written and verbal.

  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills to deal confidently with our clients as well as internal and external community members, in a  professional and timely manner.

  • Demonstrate high attention to detail in both clinical and administrative aspects of the role.
  •  
  • Demonstrate integrity and accountability, initiative, be proactive, organized, flexible and able to prioritise.

  • Be willing to follow procedures, demonstrate a growth mindset, learn and adapt in a dynamic clinic.
  •  
  • Support and work collaboratively with others in the team.
  •  
  • Be willing to participate in relevant professional development and demonstrate the use of evidence in practice.
     

Remuneration & Career Growth

  • Remuneration is consistent with the NSW Health Services Award and will start at AUD$65-70,000 with the potential to progress to more senior roles.
  • Weekly team based professional development will be provided in addition to an annual allowance for courses and training.
  • Assistance with professional fees and insurance in the first year will also be negotiated.
