9.2 rating for Culture, based on 26 reviews
Please describe your company's culture both in the office and after hours. Let us know about the structure and hierarchy, cooperation and teamwork, and socialising amongst colleagues.
Friendly culture. Fast-paced, not "typical" public service.

Overall a very friendly organisational culture with lots of cross team collaboration. Managers are generally accessible and sincere. Big emphasis on teamwork and sharing knowledge and capacity across teams. Colleagues are exceedingly friendly and pleasant to socialise with.

I feel supported and encouraged to continue to learn and grow my skill set

I love my individual team, I'm surrounded by support and my manager gives me independence but is there to help when I need. I've made good friends within the project, which I will always be grateful for.

Culture within the team is good. Culture within the organisation might need some improvements.

I am yet to see much of the after hours culture. However the internal culture, with regards to safety, learning, quality of work and employee experience is great!

Company culture is great; we are encouraged to all get along with one another with opportunities to participate in many fun social activities whether they be among an entire team, floor or even exclusively for the graduates. Even after-hours we have established a couple of get-together hangouts and keen on engaging in more of these wherever possible.

The project is very open with talking about mental health and employee wellbeing. Managers and Leaders take a genuine interest in employee wellbeing and make efforts to provide a welcome workplace. Colleagues are sociable and inclusive.

The company has an open door policy so you do not need to go up any type of hierarchy to get information. Everyone in the team is happy to help and provide the time to train/teach. After hours hasn't been exciting because of the working from home arrangement.

Within my team it is fantastic - laid back, supportive and friendly. Outside of my team I mostly see a similar culture, except in HR which is toxic and difficult to deal with (particularly with our graduate program).

The team is amazing. Everyone is really friendly and happy to answer any questions I have.

Culture is emphasised frequently at my project. It is not surprising that our HR Department is in fact called 'People and Culture'. The project puts a lot of work into creating the best environment to help people succeed and deliver their best work.

The company's culture is very good, there is a focus on holistic wellbeing and work-life balance.

The culture is fantastic, having worked in other government departments I was blown away by how fresh, inclusive and genuine the culture is at the project. The organisation and its employees live by our CARES values and are genuinely passionate in their roles (it helps that our projects are industry leading in almost all areas).

Been working from home for longer than I've been in the office so can't comment. As for hierarchy, cooperation, teamwork, and socialising - depends on the team.

Flexible working is available, but I usually work 9-5. Working with a grad cohort has been great as we are there to support each other and try to catch up when we can.

Friendly down to earth office environment. Pretty standard structure with grads, managers and directors, although everyone respects each other roles. Grads have been social out of the office when not limited but lock down. i.e., Friday drinks.

Everyone is friendly and cooperative, always willing to help when possible.

There is a strong sense of oneness amongst all who work here, in that we work together for a common goal. While there is clear structure in who does what, it does not define what you will do or who you will be forever. You very often collaborate with groups distinct from yours and there are opportunities to move to where you feel better suited. While socialising does depend on the person, the vast majority of people here are warm and genuinely interested in one another and are interested to know about you.
