The project places a high importance on tree planting and reducing waste wherever possible. We have many employees who work in Environment and Sustainability

The project is a leader in terms of sustainable infrastructure and is the #1 reason why I wanted to join the organisation. The dedicated sustainability team is lead by two of the most knowledgeable professionals in the industry and there is a clear dedication to sustainable practice which is outlined in the Sustainability Management Plan, focusing on key areas such as: Climate Resilience, Materials and Energy, and Liveable Communities. Culture change is integral to this plan and dedication/success percolates through the industry and inspires positive change in other organisations. The project is also committed to internal greenery with their office/workforce focused Green Team. There is always more that can be done however, and I believe that some employees still need to come to the party.

I understand that the project has a sustainability team but I don't know what they're doing specifically.

The project does encourage ideas form staff in terms of reducing environmental footprints. the organisation has specific sustainability specialist focused on sustainability requirements for projects as well as sustainability in the organisation itself.

The company sees itself as a leader in this area, and reducing environmental impact is a key pillar in the company's identity. Sustainability and environmental management teams are key parts of each project and the program as a whole, enabling industry-leading results to be achieved on projects. The company also has an overarching policy of continuous improvement too, and seeks to keep setting the bar higher. This extends to day-to-day operations too, such as minimising energy and water use in offices.
