Recruitment Process

Wipro Australia has a straightforward approach to recruitment phases. In general, the company does four selection rounds for fresh graduates:

Online application

The company’s Graduate Recruitment Manager reviews application forms with CVs. Pre-screened candidates should expect a 15-minute phone call as the initial interview.

Online aptitude test

The next stage involves an online test that determines an applicant’s abstract, numerical, and reasoning skills. This round may take up to two hours.

Technical interview

A panel interview happens after candidates pass the online aptitude test. Wipro Australia focuses on a person’s university studies, passion, and motivation for working in the IT industry.

During the interview, the panellists may also ask the following questions:

  • What do you know about current digital technologies?
  • What do you know about this role?
  • Why do you want to join Wipro?

HR interview

The Graduate Recruitment Manager contacts shortlisted candidates for a 30-minute interview. At this point, fresh graduates get to know more about Wipro Australia’s culture, mission, and values.

The actual process for each fresh graduate may be different. For instance, previous graduate applicants encountered up to four rounds of interviews. Some of them also said that it may take more than one month to finish the hiring process.

From the Employer:

"Our successful applicants possess the following

  • Eagerness to learn new technologies
  • Passion for working with people
  • Driven by customer success
  • Flexible & Adaptable
  • Team Collaboration
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
