Benefits

Health insurance Casa is proud to offer a PPO compatible HRA plan through Harvard Pilgrim Health Care (HPHC). This plan offers the flexibility to use providers in or out-of-network without the requirement of selecting a primary care provider. Employees residing outside of the HPHC service area are provided network access through United Healthcare Network.

Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) Employees and their dependents enrolled into the health insurance plan are automatically enrolled into the Health Reimbursement Account. The HRA is provided to reimburse up to 75% for eligible healthcare expenses applied toward the deductible.

Dental Casa offers a comprehensive, market competitive dental plan through the Guardian with orthodontics coverage for children up to age 19. The plan provides members the flexibility to visit any licensed dentist for covered expenses with an annual maximum benefit of $2,500 per member and a lifetime maximum benefit of $1,500 for child orthodontics. There is also a rollover feature for unused annual allowances.

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) Employees may contribute pre-tax earnings through a convenient payroll deduction to pay for eligible out-of-pocket healthcare and/or dependent care expenses through an FSA account. In 2022, a participant can contribute up to $2,850 into a health care reimbursement account and up to $5,000 into a dependent care reimbursement account.

Group Basic Life & Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance Casa provides, at no cost to employees, basic life insurance and AD&D coverage up to two times the employee’s base annual salary to a maximum of $500,000.

Business Travel Accident Insurance Employees traveling on company business are covered by Casa’s Business Travel Accident Insurance, including out-of-country medical insurance, emergency medical and emergency medical evacuation benefits.

Short-Term Disability and Long-Term Disability Casa provides, at no cost to employees, partial income replacement coverage to eligible employees in the event the employee becomes disabled due to a non-work-related accident or illness.

Holidays Casa’s US operations observe 10 company paid holidays.

Sick Time Casa provides its employees with 5 paid sick days per calendar year, to recover from a non-occupational illness or injury.

Vacation Time Casa provides its employees with paid days off to take time away from work to relax and pursue special interests. Vacation is accrued on a biweekly basis, based on benefit class and years of service.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Casa provides its employees with the resources of an EAP which includes free, confidential short-term counseling and referral services.
