The ERM Australia story

ERM established a presence in Australia in 1994 and has since grown to seven offices located in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Newcastle, Canberra and Adelaide.

Offices have been strategically located to service Australia's key political, financial, manufacturing, mining and agricultural centers and our key clients.

ERM's Australian operations differentiates itself from others in our market by providing a diverse mix of environmental, social and business consulting skills which provide cradle to grave services across a range of clients.  This diversity provides a unique point of difference by allowing our Australian operations to function as part of large infrastructure alliances while also providing environmental approvals, management and compliance and contaminated site management to large engineering organizations as well as work for local and multinational organizations.

The breadth of our experience enables us to provide full life cycle services to our clients, both at the corporate level and facilities level providing insight into our clients organizations that few of our competitors can rival.

We have a reputation for doing high quality work with over 50% of our work coming from repeat business.

Clients all over the world call on ERM to help them respond to complex sustainability ambitions like building business resilience, supporting the transition to a low-carbon future, or enabling progress on ESG priorities.

Our singular focus on sustainability, our range of services, and “boots to boardroom” approach ensure that we can work alongside our clients to address their most pressing challenges and opportunities, whether they require focused technical attention or full top-to-bottom strategy and solutions.

ERM has more than fifty years of experience operationalizing sustainability for clients. Our breadth and depth of expertise and ability to integrate solutions across organizations are why many of the world’s leading organizations partner with us as their trusted advisors.
