Recruitment process

Stage 1: Your resume will be reviewed by the recruitment team to evaluate if your skills, education, and background are a good potential fit for the position. If so, it will be shared with the hiring manager. If this isn’t the right position for you, our recruitment team will let you know.

Stage 2: You may be invited to an initial phone discussion with our recruitment team to discuss soft skills and interests. This will take approximately 15 to 30 minutes.

Stage 3: If you are successful during the preliminary screening, the recruitment team will invite you for a first formal interview with the hiring manager and another team member. This interview will explore a mix of behavioural, motivational, and technical questions. If the hiring team feel you are a good fit for Esri Australia, but not the position you interviewed for, they may look for similar positions that better match your skills and experience.

Stage 4: The recruitment team will proceed to pre-employment checks including references, evidence of working rights, qualifications, and psychometric testing (personality profiling and cognitive assessment).

Stage 5: You will be invited to attend a second interview – this will be onsite and will take around an hour. It will usually include a different interview panel to your first interview and is a good opportunity to further discuss the scope of work, team and culture fit, along with the company’s vision and strategies.

Stage 6: The recruitment team will be in contact to discuss a formal offer. This is usually around a week following the second interview.
